This drink was likely created by Troy Alexander as a white drink for a dinner celebrating Phoebe Snow in the 1920’s. Ms. Snow was a popular advertising character in the early 20th century.
2 oz spirit (usually brandy or gin)
1 oz Crème de Cacao
Garnish: fresh grated nutmeg
Preparation: Shake all ingredients over ice. Double strain into a chilled glass. Garnish.
