The Bramble is a modern classic created in 1984 at Fred’s Club in London’s SOHO district. It is a variation on a classic gin sour with the addition of crème de mûre – a blackberry liqueur – and is known as “England’s Cosmo.”
2 oz gin
1 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
0.5 oz Crème de Mure
Garnish: lemon slice and blackberries
Prep: Shake everything except Crème de Mure. Strain over crushed ice in a 2X OF glass. Drizzle Crème de Mure over top and garnish.
